Did you know we have these beautiful beasts in our oceans!? Mobula rays, also known as Devil Rays - with the adorable scientific name of Mobula mobular, are found off the coasts of the North Island. The can be found in groups and sometimes in massive convoys, often jumping out of the water like the majestic sea-flap-flaps that they are!

These rays and other migrating species that move beyond country borders (arbitrary lines made by humans) pose a challenge for regulators around the world. Read our blog about the importance of Marine Protected Areas in New Zealand.

Silver chain: 80cm long, note there is no clasp, designed to just pull over head.
Ray size: wingspan is 10cm and length is 9cm.

These rays are laser cut from sheets of 3D printer waste from our original Huia Feather Earring designs. To find out more about why we make these, read our blog post.

Notes

Our Mobula are part of our limited edition range of products. We can only make them when we have waste plastic available and will 'drop' stock here when we have it. Learn more about this in our blog.

Each ray is unique with its own colours (and blemishes) - they are fully functioning and we celebrate their uniqueness, as we hope you do! Please get in touch if you are not satisfied with your purchase and we will do what we can to resolve any issues in a timely manner.
