Sustainable Ōtautahi Christchurch has recently launched The Participatory Open Democracy (POD) Project which aims to form a stronger connection between the community and the civics space via collaboration, education, and establishing relationships. They are exploring ways for communities to engage more fully and consistently to achieve the policy and practical changes needed to counter the climate and ecological emergencies facing our region (and world).
