Anthea, you spelt it wrong!

If you know grammar rules, you may see that all of our content has plant and animal common names in capital letters when technically it shouldn't be.
We do this to make a point about how plants and animals are important and their names should be treated like proper names and have capital letters. Interestingly, when a human-made object is named after an animal, it gets a capital (ie Huia Feather Earrings) but the animal it's named after doesn't!
So, feel free to tell me I am wrong and I will say "yes, I know, I did it on purpose" and I will send you a link to this video of Helen and I discussing.
