We know there are a lot of bad news stories about the state of the planet, but often going unnoticed are some incredibly positive changes. Changes that are steps toward a more sustainable system. We aim to help people make those small steps and celebrate the successes so that we can transition to a circular system with less waste and more wildlife!
We provide a range of education services throughout Christchurch City including presentations, workshops and recycling demonstrations. For more info see our Services page or get in touch.
Not only did Anthea ensure knowledge was accessible to a wide range of people from different backgrounds and ages but she also created a friendly judgement free space encouraging the possibilities of making small changes to the way we do things with refreshing candour and without being dogmatic, which is a great achievement, and made for a lovely day spent learning new life skills.
The space was clean and organized, and the instructions were given in a clear, friendly, and supportive way. Anthea was VERY knowledgeable about various sustainability topics and fielded dozens of questions about a wide range of subjects. Anthea informed us of the importance of sustainability and ways we can help both ourselves and our communities move toward a more sustainable future.
This workshop was FANTASTIC. It was amazing getting to know Anthea and learning from her, not only about how to make beeswax wraps, but how to incorporate other aspects of sustainability into our lives and pay it forward!
