Breast Cancer Support Fundraiser

Did you know that breast cancer is the most common cancer for Kiwi women and the third most common cancer overall?! Both of my grandmothers had breast cancer and I am sure, with the above statistics that everyone knows someone that has been through it.

Breast Cancer Foundation New Zealand runs Pink Ribbon Awareness Month in October every year, to raise awareness and funds to support those impacted by breast cancer. You can donate to them directly on their website and via their street appeal on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October.

We have decided to make some products to also help raise funds for the cause. Our salvaged acrylic nipple earrings are a comical and raw way to show your support. Each pair sold will contribute $5 to BCFNZ. They are a subtle design so you can can purchase them, support Breast Cancer Foundation NZ's work and just tell people they are nipples if they want to. Otherwise, they are just simple earrings that they know the meaning of for yourself!

We have based the colour names on the 'Colors of the World' pencils from Crayola.
