"I'm a Keeper, Sumner" Reusable Coffee Cup Scheme
The amazing Nikki Wallacebell has recently launched her "I'm a Keeper" reusable cup scheme in Sumner with Bonobo Cafe. With support from Sumner Community Residents Association and Hub, the project, hosts workshops for local community members make two ceramic mugs. One for themselves and one to donate to a local café, Bonobo, to be loaned out to coffee lovers that have forgotten their keep cup.
These cups are not only hand made by people in the community, the clay also includes sand from Taylor's Mistake beach! How cool is that!? I recently made one and you can watch the video here.
