Beach Plastic Kaleidoscope

A few years back I visited Evan's Bay, Wellington and caught up with the amazing Sea Shepherd team that were doing monthly beach cleans. The clean-ups involved essentially vacuuming up the ground, separating the plastic from the dirt, putting the organic matter back and taking away the waste.

I collected a heap of plastic that day and have been wanting to make a kaleidoscope for ages. Finally got around to it with this kaleidoscope kit from the Christchurch Libraries.

Big shout out to all the folks around the country (and globe) that are working to keep waste out of our oceans and beloved sea creatures tummies!!!
